 Sleek Kitchen are the manufacturer and distributor of Modular Kitchen with about 160 dealer network in Mumbai and also across metros and mini metros.

Owing to its clientele that includes architects and interior designers, sleek not only offers accessories in a number of sized but also tailor makes them to suit individual requirements. 

Sleek needed to upgrade its old software which was on client-server technology to the web technology to better manage data across the enterprise from order to delivery. It also required the system that would connect the dealers network and suppliers located across India and other countries to manage their respective data. 

Challenge

Sleek process relied heavility on efficient purchasing, sales and distribution process from Item supply through to delivery to customer. But the old system was unable to deliver the data efficiently and in the effective manner. Also Sleek wanted to connect all their customers and suppliers spreaded across geography under 1 single system - a truly Enterprise solution. Integrated system was also required to manage its financial and sales process.

Solution

Sleek International examined alternative ERP solutions such a SAP, but in mid 2005, it contacted Eresource Solutions - Eresource ERP. ErEresource ERP was tailored to fit the specifc needs of the Kitchen Industry, in particular, Kitchen distributors. 

The new solution, based on Eresource ERP add-on and customized for Sleek International creates manufacturing orders based on Sleek own sales configuration. For example, if a customer orders a kitchen with white doors, the solution creates a simple bill of materials needed to produce those cabinets, shutters, carcass and other accessories and appliances. The order is automatically created in the Client servicing portal, the client servicing executive can now create the quotation and upon the confirmation, the system automatically handles purchase orders and prompts a confirm from the supplier. Eresource ERP for Kitchen Distributors handles right from the enquiry to delivery and dispatch of material to the customer.  

ERP for Kitchen Industry  was customized to fit the requirement of sleek and now Sleek can not only connect across the enterprise, but also the dealers network and suppliers can access the system through internet to access their respective information. With the system Sleek can now track products from the financial and sales, through the production and logistics stages. Sleek can easily see when a customer placed a new order or when the products arrived from their suppliers.
